Converting the four modes

The short answer

Stroller to trike: unlock the child handlebar and lift the seat upright. Trike to training: clip the pedals on and fold the canopy away. Training to free riding: release and remove the parent handle. Every change reverses in the same time, and the fold works in every mode.

Wonder max in trike mode

Stroller mode, from 6 months on the Wonder max™

Seat reclined, harness on, canopy up, child handlebar locked, footrest up. You steer from the parent handle.

Trike mode, from about 10 months

Seat upright. Unlock the child handlebar. They hold on, you steer. Canopy up or down.

Training mode, from about 18 months

Clip the pedals on. Fold the canopy away or remove it. Footrest down so their feet reach the ground when you stop. Parent handle stays on.

Free riding, from about 2

Release the parent handle and lift it off. Stow the harness. It is their trike now. The handle clicks back on for the ride home.

Folding, in every mode

Release the fold lock, one motion, three seconds. Both locks click on the way back up. Check them before you push.
